This series has taken me places I never expected, had me ready to fling my computer out the window, left me wanting to quit pursuing this path altogether…and yet the writing of these books has also been my saving grace. Say rather, the discoveries I’ve made while writing and the accompanying reader feedback I’ve received has been my saving grace. I remain continually amazed that this series has taken on a life of its own for those of you reading this and my humblest thanks to all of you for the support, (especially those who sent emails demanding the next book immediately).
Fair warning: this book is darker than the ones before it. That too is not without its reasons. I’ve written of this elsewhere, so I won’t repeat myself here, but suffice it to say that the year and a half it took me to write this book and its predecessor, Above The Salt, was arguably the darkest period of my life. My amazing editor, mentor, and dearest of friends, Annetta Ribken, has often reminded me the best writing comes from a place of truth. While I’m not so bold or foolish as to estimate the quality of my work, I do know the darkness in these tales came from truth. Also, just like the characters therein, searching for their voices and struggling to find their way, I too made such discoveries thanks to the amazing support of you, dear readers, my family, and the Salted team – Annetta Ribken, Mike Corley, Lee Burton, Jennifer Wingard, and Valerie Bellamy – all of whom continue to bless me by lending their talents and vision to make this series better than I ever could have hoped to do alone. Here’s to our next journey beneath the waves.

I want to congratulate Aaron Galvin in advance. Now that he released his new book, his fans have something to read again. Personally, I see something unique in Galvin's style in writing. he has this power to bring his readers to the moment of the situations he has on the book. For a reader, it is important for you to be connected with what you're reading. I will always be happy to read this newly released book and post my review towards it! I am sure it's going to be great!
