  Okay, so onto this sweet, sweet story!
  I received a message not long ago. The kind I imagine every author dreams of receiving.
  It came from a teacher.
  Said teacher had read my book and enjoyed it, especially for the diversity incorporated via characters like Lenny, Garrett, Paulo, Ellie, and Chidi (pronounced Chee-dee).
  Naturally, I was stoked just to hear this bit of news. 
  Then, the teacher mentioned taking the book to school for students to learn about...

   After telling the class a bit about Salted, all fought for the chance to read it first. The teacher couldn't pick favorites, so a system was instituted where students alternated reading when finished with their work for the day and used their own bookmarks to not lose their place.

  This teacher had even more good news for me!
  A parent mentioned their teen came home from school begging for a copy. Said parent was thrilled! Apparently, their teen had never asked to buy a book before...ever.
