Something good? Awesome? Bit of both.

  Guess who finally saw Guardians of The Galaxy?  
 Loved it, btw. I've probably listened to Redbone's Come and Get Your Love a thousand times since the movie ended. Also, let's be honest, more than half of those listens became dance parties.
  Okay, all of them did.
  Anywho, definitely check the movie out. I lean toward Dawn of The Planet of The Apes as my fave summer movie, but it's close. You really can't go wrong seeing either film.
  Apologies it's been so long since I've posted. Been crazy busy working on Taken With A Grain of Salt, the sequel to Salted. Ooh, I can't wait to continue that story with you. Things are getting dark, folks. I'm in a pretty good mood, but today feels like a Lenny kind of day for writing. Love that guy.

   I also realized I never did a recap from my Chicago trip! Man. I'm falling behind.

 I lived near Wrigleyville for a few years after college before eventually moving to L.A. so it was nice to head back and revisit the old Chi-town stomping grounds. Have to say, Chicago remains my fave big city.
 City Lit Books was gracious enough to host me for a quick book tour stop in between a wedding and reception. Fantastic store, btw. Highly recommend it if you're in the area. I gave a little talk and might've given a spoiler or two for Taken. (See what happens when you attend a book signing? Hint, hint, wink, wink.) Signed some books and met new friends along the way!
